What are the requirements to partner with Metropolitan?

To qualify as a delivery partner with Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery, all carriers must meet the following minimum requirements:

26' white box truck with liftgate and pallet jack
Active Federal Motor Carrier Interstate Operating Authority
Proven experience in final mile white glove home delivery, including setup, assembly, and installation
Must be a registered LLC, Corporation, or Partnership (no sole proprietors); FEIN required
Insurance coverage must meet the following minimums:
- $1,000,000 Commercial Auto Liability
- $1,000,000 Commercial General Liability
- $100,000 Cargo Coverage
- Workers’ Compensation: $500,000 or statutory minimums
Criminal background and drug screening required for all delivery personnel
Delivery teams must be capable of lifting, carrying, assembling, and installing furniture
Availability required six days per week, including weekends
All carrier personnel must speak English
